The Conservation Fund is the nation’s top environmental nonprofit dedicated to protecting America’s most important landscapes and waterways for future generations. Over the last 30 years, we have saved more than 7.8 million acres of land and water in all 50 states, from the park down the street, to historic battlefields, wild areas and favorite destinations of all kinds.
Working efficiently and effectively, the Fund devotes 96% of its annual budget directly to conservation programs and just 1% to fundraising.
Conservation takes many forms, and The Fund's programs interpret and practice conservation in a mutually-reinforcing way—working in concert to make sure the value of natural resources in America remain essential to our prosperity.
From our headquarters in Arlington, Virginia, and our field offices across the country, we work with our partners to conserve land, train leaders and invest in conservation at home
