Little is known about the genetics of Delahaze.
Its breeders, Paradise Seeds, state Delahaze is 70% Sativa. Some speculate that the strain is a cross between Mango Haze and California Lemon Skunk due to its mango and citrus flavors. Delahaze took second place in Spain's 2009 Champions Cannabis Cup. In 2008, the strain came in second at High Times Cannabis Cup. A strong strain, Delahaze leaves the users clear-headed but induces various bodily effects.
Delahaze may help with minor aches and pains but is often used to reduce nausea and increase appetite. Users may find relief from anxiety, stress, and depression, but new users may experience a psychedelic effect.
Delahaze can stretch a lot and needs to be supported during its ten-to-eleven week flowering cycle. When grown outdoors, it reaches maturity in early November and can yield up to one kilogram. The dense flowers can be prone to bud rot and can contain around 18% THC. Delahaze can be suitable for the Screen of Green technique and may produce up to 500 grams per square meter when grown indoors.
