Designed by the folks at the Devil's Harvest Seed Company, the mostly Indica hybrid Fallen Angel tastes of pungent Kush with earthy undertones.
Starting with their strain Khufu, which is a mix of Cheese and San Fernando Valley OG Kush, the breeders crossed it with a Shoreline clone. As Sensi Star's original Shoreline strain has seemingly been lost, the Shoreline used in Fallen Angel is a cross with a Dutch Passion male Oasis. Fallen Angel is the sort of Indica that will bring nearly all of its users down, forcing them into a horizontal position and covering their bodies in numbing waves.
A great strain to end the day and bring on the night, it can do wonders for insomniacs. Fallen Angel's body buzz can soothe most chronic aches and pains. It may also be used by patients looking to ease the symptoms of cancer and Crohn's disease. The hybrid may also alleviate the side effects of chemotherapy, such as nausea and anorexia.
A good strain for those just starting out, it can be grown inside or outdoors. The strain should be kept in its vegetating period for at least four to six weeks as plants of this strain tend to double in height. Fallen Angel does not easily get nutrient burn as long as it is given a proper three week flush. Despite the strain's indica dominance, it has a relatively high calyx-to-leaf ratio, making the trimming process for this plant less time consuming. Inside this strain needs eight to nine week. To best preserve the strain's flavor it is recommended that it be given six to eight weeks to cure.
