About Anesthesia

Anesthesia is a powerful, sedating indica-dominant hybrid (sativa/indica ratio of roughly 10:90) carries the genetics of an Afghani indica and a Skunk hybrid.

As its name suggests, it's potent and useful in treating pain. THC levels have been measured at 19% in some tests, putting this in the higher ranks of strong marijuana strains. CBD numbers are harder to come by, but nothing suggests they're especially high, so Anesthesia shouldn't be used to treat seizures or other problems that are alleviated by CBD. Instead, this strain is an idea choice for chronic body pains and everyday aches. It also helps with inflammation, muscle spasms, and anxiety, while its indica genes make it a great choice for insomniacs.

The body high is calming and focused, inducing sleep, hunger, and in some cases sociability. Expect a pungent earthy smell and taste, with notes of musk and skunk.

This strain has a bright green appearance with numerous nearly red strands. Bloodshot eyes is the most common negative effect tied to Anesthesia, while cottonmouth, paranoia, and dizziness are also reported. Outside Boulder, Col., this strain isn't easy to find, though dispensaries might sell it in other parts of the American West.
