SARNIA – Two people have been arrested and police are searching for a third after a cannabis dispensary in Sarnia was robbed at gunpoint.

Police say a pickup truck was stolen from a local business before the cannabis theft, which took place in the early morning Feb. 20. A “large quantity” or cannabis was reported stolen as well as cash from the dispensary. As many as three people left the scene in a pickup truck, police say.

A shotgun was wielded during the theft, police say. It’s unclear whether the gun was loaded.

Two Sarnia men, 33 and 35 respectively, were arrested after the robbery. Police say they are still looking for the whereabouts of a third man, who has not been identified, as well as the gun.

Anyone with information on the third individual or the firearm are asked to call police at 519-344-8861 ext. 6221 or Sarnia Lambton Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
