About Midwest iHemp Expo

Building a Future with Hemp

As the U.S. manufacturing sector continues looking for sustainable practices, materials and processes, hemp is an emerging material of interest. Makers around the country have been looking at ways industrial hemp can be used for everything from automotive interiors to animal feed and top-line clothing.

In January 2020, we hosted an industrial hemp trade show at the Lansing Center. The event, attended by more than 1,200 professionals, featured presenters from around the nation discussing growing, processing, marketing and the myriad of uses for industrial hemp in Michigan.

On January 22 – 23, 2021, the Midwest iHemp Expo will be a more focused event to connect people and resources, farmers and makers, in an effort to fuel the growth of this limitless industry.

Join us as we bring together the leaders of the growing industrial hemp industry to map out the future, develop the supply chain for hemp to industry, and discuss the challenges and opportunities for the year ahead.

2021 promises to be a pivotal year for sustainability efforts around the globe. The Midwest iHemp Expo is a chance to engage with the people and companies who will be leading a hemp-driven revolution founded on technologies that connect our farming heritage with our manufacturing future.

This was a well organized event. They were ready for a crowd, and I thought there was a good amount of people on Friday, but never crowded. Good speakers with plenty of Q&A .

Great job to all the vendors and the iHemp team for the class act of putting on one heck of a show!

Ben Martin

We made it up Friday night by 8:00 PM and we were at the show first thing in the morning. We were able to see everything and talk to everybody we wanted to. The weather held off and by 3:15 PM we were on the road and in an hour and a half we were far enough south to miss the ice and snow storm and get a clean ride home back to Mansfield, Ohio. Your show was exceptional. Better than I had hoped for. Kudos to everybody that put all the time and energy into pulling that off. Well worth the trip and a great experience.
