The inaugural Imperial County Hemp Summit & Expo will take place this fall of 2019 in Imperial, California. Thousands of acres of prime farmland in the low desert of Southern California developed the region known as the Imperial Valley. Today, the Imperial Valley is one of the most productive agricultural centers in California and the United States, supplying the majority of vegetables to the nation during winter months. The region's abundant and affordable land and water, coupled with an optimal climate that allows for multiple growing cycles a year, have positioned Imperial County as an opportune region for industrial hemp.

ICHemp will serve as an all-encompassing marketplace for education, networking and marketing for growers, processors, manufacturers and retailers in the hemp industry. The event will include a full day of expert panels and speeches led by top industry professionals, regional tours of local growing operations and research facilities, and a two-day business expo.
