Takoma Park Alternative Care

Takoma Park Alternative Care evaluates both adult and pediatric patients for the DC and MD Medical Cannabis Programs. Takoma Park Alternative Care strives to provide compassionate and individualized service in a quiet and discreet setting. The physician takes the time to properly educate patients on what to expect, pros and cons, dosage, strain/product recommendation, methods of consumption, and possible side effects and drug interactions. Many conditions such as chronic pain syndromes due to degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, psoriatic, gouty, and osteoarthritis, diabetic neuropathy, fibromyalgia; severe migraines, Crohn's disease, IBS and hepatitis C are only but a few of the conditions that benefit from medicinal cannabis therapy. Patients under the age of 18, if accompanied by a parent or guardian, can be evaluated for conditions that would justify the use of medicinal cannabis, such as, but not limited to, intractable seizures and migraines, chronic pain syndromes, cancer related pain and palliative care. The office is conveniently located in Takoma Park (close to the DC line and Takoma Metro.) in Montgomery County. The initial fee includes a three month follow up visit.
