Grew our content marketing expertise and an email database with thousands of contacts. Landed our first enterprise customer, helping us realize that what we built would help other entrepreneurs. In addition, finished an MBA at the Haskayne School of Business, Calgary, AB, Canada, that further grew our business knowledge. Received grants, incentives, and funding (Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) and Alberta Innovates)
related to our page-speed load time, which allowed us to upgrade our software. Went to market with our software. Received funding from Alberta Innovates and raised a Seed Round to give us the opportunity to test concepts in various verticals. Now have the ability to generate high-quality leads. Industries that have used Spartan Spark methodology and software: Manufacturing, Amusement Park, Self-Serve Parking, Fitness Facilities, Automotive Repair, Non-Profits, Oil and Gas, Cannabis, Consumer Goods, Information Technology, and more. Accepted into an Accelerator Program in Silicon Valley, giving us insight into which markets would be best to work with. From that, discovered that a side effect of our software is that it reduced the cost of Google Advertising. Realized that the industries that pay the most for their advertising, using in particular cost-per-click, are the ones for whom we could make the biggest difference. And the proof is in our results.
