OUR HISTORY

For 15 years, we have been cultivating high-quality cannabis strains that provide the most effective health benefits. In that time, we’ve seen our patients’ symptoms minimized and diagnoses reversed. We are second-generation family farmers that bring legacy cannabis culture, values and practices into the new commercial marketplace. We take great pride in our work and focus on producing the cleanest, purest, most sustainable cannabis possible to help people feel better and improve their well-being.

 OUR UNIQUE REGION

The Sierra Foothills region is unrivaled for optimal cannabis cultivation. Its particularly dry climate led growers to breed strains that thrived. Over decades, the caregivers and medicine makers of our community have discovered the healing wonders of cannabis and intentionally bred and stewarded these balanced THC/CBD cultivars. Foothill River Farms is grateful for the opportunity to work with these spectacular genetics.

We don’t focus cultivation on strains that yield the most, are easiest to grow, or are most profitable. In contrast, we work with strains that are the most therapeutic to people.

OUR COMMUNITY

Foothill River Farms is devoted to increasing the quality of life in Nevada County and supports local organizations that work to do so. This is accomplished through involvement with local advocacy groups and local nonprofits. We cherish the community where we’ve been born and raised and are committed to bettering the world we live in.
