With a growing need for more student housing at Queens University of Charlotte, Atlanta-based SunTrust Banks Inc. has stepped in with $12 million in financing for a new residence hall. Construction started last fall on what college officials call the Northwest residence hall, which is slated for completion before students arrive for class this upcoming fall. The 30,000-square-foot building will house 120 students.
