U.S. stock index futures gave up most of their gains on Thursday as the release of much weaker-than-expected retail sales data offset optimism around ongoing trade talks. Earlier in the day, Dow futures were up more than 100 points. Futures on the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 also pointed to a flat open.
