Liht Cannabis Corp. recently received its second organically grown certification, applying to both of its cultivation facilities in Las Vegas.

Certified Kindâs ârules have been modeled after (IFOAM) International Federation of Organic Agriculture MovementsâNorms for Organic Production and Processing, the USDA National Organic Program (NOP) standards and the organic standards of the European Union, Canada and Mexico,â notes a press release from Liht.
Certified Kindâwhich sample tests for 200-plus pesticide residuesâoffers a transparent way for cannabis producers to prove their commitment to earth-friendly production practices that meet, and in some cases, exceed USDA Organic standards, reports Liht, , which since 2014 has rapidly expanded to include cultivation, production and dispensary locations in Washington, Nevada and California.
âWe are focused on creating an environment of excellence, specifically for the cultivation of a premium organic product. Our goal is to ensure that when we say that we deliver a âTop Shelfâ product, that there are multiple third-party certifiers there to validate it for us,â says Kurt Keating, Lihtâs director of operations.
