MORRISTOWN, N.J. (AP) _ Pernix Therapeutics Holdings Inc. (PTX) on Thursday reported a third-quarter loss of $11.8 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The Morristown, New Jersey-based company said it had a loss of 89 cents per share.
The pharmaceutical posted revenue of $37.2 million in the period.
In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, the company's shares hit 82 cents. A year ago, they were trading at $2.95.
