Roughly 20 individual bundles of cash were confiscated during a Ontario Provincial Police raid on a Leamington property controlled by former Crime Stoppers boss Jon Paul Fuller, according to evidence submitted during his trial in Superior Court on Wednesday.

Fuller, 47, is facing charges of production and trafficking in marijuana valued at more than $3 million following the raid and his arrest on Sept. 21, 2016. He was dismissed by Crime Stoppers shortly after his arrest.

A witness for the prosecution, OPP Const. Charlie Abdul-Massih — an exhibit officer at the scene of the raid — entered items as exhibits that had been confiscated — including photos of the itemized cash bundles which ranged in value from $100 to $22,000. Court heard that some of the cash was returned to Fuller since his arrest.

The officer also presented as evidence a black book said to be used as a financial ledger of marijuana sales, a digital weight scale, invoices for grow-op equipment and supplies and several alleged Health Canada permits.

There were two houses and several greenhouses on the site controlled by Fuller in the 1900 block of Fox Run Road that led to the seizure by Ontario Provincial Police of 2,900 marijuana plants between eight and 12 feet high.

They were valued at $2.9 million with another 91 pounds of harvested marijuana found at the site valued at $180,000.

Several witnesses for the prosecution were in attendance waiting to testify on Wednesday, but were sent home after court was adjourned mid-afternoon following a lengthy dispute involving lawyers from both sides surrounding evidence and police reports.

The trial will resume on Thursday, but an entire week of additional court dates has also been scheduled for the week of Oct. 15 for continuation of the court trial with roughly a dozen witnesses for the prosecution told Wednesday not to return until that time.
