New supply agreement ushers Sundial Growers entry into B.C.

Sundial Growers Inc. has received the green light from the B.C. Liquor Distribution Branch to supply cannabis to the province.

 

 

“B.C. has a proud history and culture of producing world-famous cannabis and we look to continue the tradition by providing the province with craft, premium quality cannabis that will live up to the high standards set by its forebears,” Andrew Stordeur, chief commercial officer for Sundial, says in a company statement.

“This is an exciting time at Sundial as we continue to scale with pace while focusing on delivering uninterrupted supply to our current customers,” Stordeur continues.

The recently announced extra cultivation space at the company’s flagship operation in Olds, Alta. “will allow Sundial to expand distribution to all of the Western provinces along with Ontario,” reports the privately held, Alberta-based licensed cannabis producer, which grows “craft-at-scale” cannabis using purpose-built modular systems.

“Supply agreements with the provincial boards of Alberta and Ontario are already in place, and approval to sell in Saskatchewan was recently received,” Sundial adds.
