Mile High Labs’ on-farm, partner hemp facility processing 50 acres of hemp daily

Mile High Labs International Inc. reports its patent-pending, modular, CBD-extraction technology—currently installed on a partnering farm—is processing 50 acres of hemp daily into full spectrum oil, the baseline ingredient from which CBD products are made.

Called the Mile High Monster, the CBD extraction technology increases Mile High’s production capacity by more than 500 percent, reports the company, which extracts exclusively from industrial hemp flower material and offers bulk and wholesale CBD ingredients and co-packing services to manufacturers, retailers and companies industry.

Mile High Labs recently installed the first unit on a hemp farm in eastern Colorado and a second unit is slated for installation in southern Colorado later in March, notes a press release from the company. This will “give hemp farmers the security of having a reliable buyer as they increase hemp production, while ensuring Mile High Labs has the raw material to supply safe CBD ingredients to meet global consumer demand,” it adds.

 

 

“Three years ago, the technology and equipment did not exist to produce CBD at an industrial scale or allow the world’s largest brands to deliver safe CBD products to consumers around the world,” says company founder and CTO Stephen Mueller, adding that the new technology is the culmination of company efforts to optimize the CBD extraction process and build the equipment needed to achieve this.

Citing the passage of the U.S. Farm Bill late last year, the company statement notes “while the increased hemp production provides the raw material needed to help develop wildly popular CBD products, no one has optimized CBD extraction at an industrial scale, causing a bottleneck between cultivators and consumers.”

Calling the company’s new offering a solution, “it was built specifically around the ability to process mass quantities of hemp to supply a global marketplace, both today and long into the future,” the statement notes.
