Liberty Health Sciences Inc. has taken yet another step towards its Florida expansion with the anticipated opening of its 12th dispensary in Gainesville on Mar. 20, 2019.
The opening is âsubject to the receipt of Florida Department of Health approvalsâ and will bring the companyâs dispensary complement for the city to three, notes a statement from quality cannabis provider Liberty. The two other company facilities âhouse an aggregate of 228,880 sq. ft. of cultivation space,â the press release adds.

The new Gainesville dispensaryâmeasuring 1,934 sq. ft. and designed as a contemporary wellness environment, with focus on premium patient serviceâwill offer visitors âexperienced staff who continue to guide patients through the purchasing process, provide private consultations and host monthly educational events open to the community to discuss the benefits of medicinal cannabis products,â the statement adds.
âWe continue to aggressively pick up momentum we had in the tail end of 2018, and in 2019, we have announced the opening of three dispensaries, marking this the fourth to open this year,â says Victor Mancebo, interim CEO of Liberty.
The 11 other company dispensaries are located in Dania Beach, Merritt Island, Miami, North Miami, Palm Harbor, Port St. Lucie, St. Petersburg, Summerfield, Tampa (Hyde Park), Orange Park and Winter Haven.
