The bill redefines hemp as an agricultural commodity and removes hemp from the Controlled Substances Act and the jurisdiction of the Drug Enforcement Administration, allowing for a massive expansion of economic opportunities across all sectors of the hemp industry.
Perlowin details his projections of what the legalization of hemp will mean for the U.S. economy. Specifically, he notes that legalization will bring back the small family farm, unleash several multi-billion dollar industries, and transform the health and wellness of America.

Hemp, Inc. has announced that its strategic growing partner, "Veteran Village Kins Community Arizona, Inc.", has completed its final site plan blueprints for its 500-acre site in Golden Valley, Arizona (20 miles north of Kingman, AZ and 90 minutes from Las Vegas, NV). The site plan was submitted to the Mohave County Building Department for final review. The Company is also in the final stages of completing the necessary infrastructure to support an off-grid, renewable, energy system.
