On a per-share basis, the Atlanta-based company said it had profit of 17 cents.
The residential furniture and accessories retailer posted revenue of $187.2 million in the period.
Haverty Furniture shares have climbed 27% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $23.80, a climb of 31% in the last 12 months.
