âWe look forward to meeting with other industry leaders at the Lift & Co. Cannabis Business Expo in Vancouver and sharing in the excitement of working in a country that has fully embraced our industry,â said GrowLife, Inc. CEO Marco Hegyi. âWith Canadaâs Oct. 17 legalization, the country fully legalized adult-use cannabis including commercial cultivation of cannabis plants for retail as well as home-grown cannabis for individuals. We will be exhibiting our commercial line of EZ-CLONE propagation technology at the conference, which has received significant interest from Canadian producers who need to scale operations quickly and efficiently. Prior to our acquisition, EZ-CLONE was only beginning to expand into Canada. Through our existing footprint and network of growers, we hope that the EZ-CLONE product line will be fully embraced by commercial growers and we will seek to dominate the region with our cloning technology.â
It is estimated that the Canadian cannabis market has a base retail value between $4.9 billion to $8.7 billion. Adults (18 years and older; 19 in some areas) are now allowed to buy, use, possess, and grow recreational cannabis. The market for cannabis products and services â including growers, testing labs, lighting, and security systems â would increase that number to between $12.7 billion and $22.6 billion.
Hegyi added, âEZ-CLONE is looking to become the standard in cloning and propagation among industry leaders and experts. Our companyâs mission is to support the entire process of cannabis cultivation while helping our customers to grow in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
EZ-CLONEâs product line complements our
proprietary vertical commercial grow system and provides our
customers with the ultimate cultivation infrastructure from clone
to harvest.â
