Leading hydroponic equipment supplier to attend business development cannabis conference in Oklahoma City April 18 and April 19, 2019, at booth #401

KIRKLAND, Wash., April 17, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- GrowLife, Inc. (PHOT) (“GrowLife” or the “Company”), one of the nation’s most recognized indoor cultivation product and service providers, today announced that the Company will be exhibiting at Oklahoma City CannaCon on Thursday, April 18, and Friday, April 19, 2019, at Cox Convention Center. GrowLife will be exhibiting at booth #401.

“GrowLife sees Oklahoma as a state where a lot of opportunities are happening in regard to the medical marijuana and hemp industries, and we are excited to attend a conference that is right in the middle of it all,” said GrowLife Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing Joe Barnes. “The state of Oklahoma has approved one of the most business-friendly initiatives in the country, and through Oklahoma City CannaCon, GrowLife can showcase its award-winning products for commercial cultivation such as the EZ-Clone Pro cloning system and GrowLife HP Soil, a proprietary nutrient-rich growing medium. Additionally, we plan to conduct business development meetings with industry leaders and develop strategic partnerships with the trade members from around the state and country.”

Since Oklahoma legalized medical cannabis in June 2018, the state is projected to be a large opportunity state with a number of dispensaries opening and applicant cards issued. As of April 15, 2019, there have been 100,672 patient applications and 4,820 business applications received, according to the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority. Additionally, the Oklahoma house recently unanimously voted to push an industrial hemp bill through to Governor Kevin Stitt.

At the premier event, GrowLife looks forward to meeting with other cannabis businesses dedicated to moving the cannabis industry forward and exploring GrowLife’s most recent innovative product offerings, including discussions on its Vertical Growing System. The system is currently under development through the Company’s research and development division, led by renowned cannabis cultivation solution designer William Blackburn. GrowLife hopes to launch the system in the coming months to help cultivators decrease their production costs significantly, while producing high-quality and consistent cannabis plants. The goal of the system is to reduce the production cost of cannabis plants to as low as $.50 per gram of dried and trimmed plant.
