Westleaf Inc.’s newly launched e-commerce site for sales across Saskatchewan offers visitors online access to a wide variety of products through the Prairie Records retail concept, which combines music and cannabis.

The age-gated retail site is located at www.prairierecords.ca, notes a statement from Westleaf, a vertically integrated cannabis company focused on innovative retail experiences and cultivation, production and extraction of cannabis products.

The site allows for province-wide, direct sales of 65 individual SKUs (stock keeping unit) of cannabis products and a wide variety of accessories and merchandise; expedited delivery direct to consumers, with same-day delivery available to most of the province in the coming weeks; and mirroring the in-store experience that combines music and cannabis, including product information on album covers and matching product characteristics with curated playlists, the press release states.

Westleaf, for its part, is rolling out a national retail footprint for the Prairie Records concept, with stores planned for B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan and potentially Ontario.

“The launch of online retail is an important next step in rolling out the Prairie Records brand across Saskatchewan and the rest of Western Canada over the coming months,” says Westleaf president and CEO Scott Hurd. Saskatchewan “has proven to be a positive regulatory environment to launch our retail operations and we are pleased it is the first jurisdiction with a Prairie Records online presence,” Hurd continues.

Prairie Record stores focus exclusively on densely populated neighbourhoods, high-traffic areas and tourist destinations.
