Cheech & Chong bringing O Cannabis comedy tour to London
Comedy duo Cheech & Chong is coming to London.
Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong, who built a career on their pot-smoking antics, bring their O Cannabis Tour to the Budweiser Gardens Start.ca Performance Stage on Sept. 28.
Tickets, which go on sale April 26 at 10 a.m., are $68, $81.50 and $128, not including service charges, available at the box office, 99 Dundas St., online at Budweisergardens.com and by calling 1-866-455-2849.
Cheech and Chong released nine comedy albums between 1972 and 1985 and were nominated for four Grammy Awards, winning the Grammy for best comedy album in 1973 for Los Cochinos.
They also starred in the iconic movie Up In Smoke, which pulled in more than $100 million at the box office in 1978. They did eight films together, all directed by Chong, who grew up in Calgary.
