CBDfx launches line of disposable, flavoured CBD vape pens with terpenes

Los Angeles-based CBDfx has debuted its new line of flavoured disposable CBD vape pens infused with terpenes, a move the company suggests reflects what it sees as the belief of industry and customers alike that terpenes are an essential part of the CBD experience.

 

 

The new vape pens are available in four new flavours, notes a statement issued by CBDfx, which is focused on providing high-quality, full-spectrum and organic/ethically sourced CBD to customers in a wide variety of formats. The flavours are Gelato—smooth, creamy and not too sweet; OG Kush—a citrusy, herbaceous flavour; Pineapple Express—fruity, juicy and the right amount of tang; Platinum Rose—a subtle flavour that remains delicate from start to finish, the press release states.

 

 

The decision to include terpenes—the oily, aromatic compounds that give plants their unique smell—follows increased research surrounding the entourage effect.

The entourage effect “describes a situation where the main active ingredient (in this case, CBD) is made more potent and effective when taken alongside the original plant’s other molecular components,” states the press release. “This effect appears to be especially pronounced in regards to terpenes,” the statement notes.
