Can you roll the perfect joint in under five minutes? If so, then this U.K. dispensary is looking for you

Hemp Earth Dispensary is seeking a “professional spiff roller” for its shop in Brighton, England.

 

 

‘We are seeking the crème de la crème of Brighton based spliff rollers to come and join our team at Hemp Earth Dispensary,” reads the recruitment ad posted by the shop.

The dispensary will be rolling and selling 0.7-gram joints of the Hemp Earth’s “finest CBD flowers” rolled in organic paper. The product is currently legal in the U.K.

In lieu of a standard interview, auditions for the position will be held this Wednesday, Feb. 27, inside the store. Speed is of the essence, and so is form.

‘Can you roll the perfect pure spliff in under five minutes? If so then we want you!” reads the ad for the position.

‘Come to Hemp Earth Dispensary on Wednesday, February 27 at 2pm for a spliff rolling contest. ‘You roll, we’ll time you. If you’re the fastest and make the prettiest spliff, then we’ll keep you.’

If this is starting to sound like too much fun, a dispensary spokesperson notes some caveats. The pro-roller will only get about eight hours a month of work every four weeks, will roll exclusively “legal herbal mixture,” and B-ing Y O Weed to work is a hard no.

“We would like to make clear we are not offering a full time ‘job role’ here, and we are hoping that those that do come along on the day, do so in a good-natured way, ready to have some fun, and engage with each other,” said the spokesman.

“The person we do select will be asked to produce some handmade rolls of legal herbal mixture for any of our customers that might request this–this will be for a maximum of eight hours per calendar month.”

“More than anything we wish to stress, that nothing illegal is ever present on the premises at any time, and attempting to bring any prohibited substances on to our premises is strictly forbidden,” the spokesman added.
