Boeing: We have full confidence in safety of 737 MAX

The Boeing Co. on Tuesday said that stands fully behind the safety of its fast-selling 737 MAX narrow-body jet.  “Safety is Boeing’s No. 1 priority and we have full confidence in the safety of the 737 MAX,” the company said on its website. “We understand that regulatory agencies and customers have made decisions that they believe are most appropriate for the home markets. The short succession of the two incidents sparked concerns around the world about the aircraft's safety.  American Airlines flight attendants will not be forced to work on the Boeing 737 MAX, its union said.
