The Boeing Co. said Thursday it has stopped deliveries of its 737 MAX amid the global grounding of the aircraft, but that it continues to build the family of 737 jets at the rate of 52 per month.  “Boeing has paused delivery of 737 MAX airplanes due to the temporary grounding,” company spokesperson Paul Bergman says. â€œWe continue to build 737 MAX airplanes, while assessing how the situation, including potential capacity constraints, will impact our production system.”  He also says that while the production rate continues at 52 aircraft per month right now, Boeing (NYSE: BA) will continue “to work through production decisions." The move comes after the aircraft has been grounded following two deadly crashes of the 737 MAX 8 in just over five months.
