Spirit has also had success, Newlin said, with a similar program at its Tulsa facility. âWhen they began to have conversations about a new model of offering primary care, we felt it would be best to have a seat at the table so we can integrate this new primary-care model into the rest of the care package that we supply,â says Newlin. Itâs estimated that the care will cover around 4,000 employees and dependents, roughly 12 percent of the estimated 12,500 Spirit employees and 20,500 dependents.
