Air Canada on Tuesday gave some indication of how long airlines might be expecting the Boeing Co.'s 737 MAX to be out of service, announcing that the narrow-body jets have been removed from its flight schedule for at least the next several months. The Montreal-based carrier said in a press release that âbecause the timeline for the return to service of the 737 MAX is unknownâ that it will remove it from its schedule until at least July 1. The airline has 24 737 MAX aircraft from Boeing (NYSE: BA) in its fleet. It also said that it had been expecting delivery of six more of the new 737 variants in March and April. Deliveries of the aircraft by Boeing have been halted amid a grounding of the aircraft.
