5 under-the-radar marijuana stocks that could pay off

The first stories trumpeting the business opportunities in marijuana started popping up around 2016, as ballot initiatives that year legalized recreational marijuana in California, Nevada, Maine and Massachusetts. Most notably, $4 billion marijuana leader Cronos Group (CRON)(CA:CRON)  has plunged more than 40% from its recent highs.
