Trim Associate

Applicants shall understand that as a requirement of the State of Maryland, you must consent to having your fingerprints taken for the submission of an FBI background check and a drug screen that complies with Maryland rules and regulations.

Responsibilities As a trim associate, you are responsible for the processing of the cannabis plant post-harvest. Associates will partake in operations ranging from the preparation of harvested plants to aiding in the packaging and distribution of medical cannabis. Individuals who are qualified for the position will be trained accordingly in operations pertaining to the following principal duties:

Work under the direction of the Post-harvest Manager and SunMed Management Team.

Uphold a high standard of professionalism and integrity.

Trim harvested medical cannabis by hand by removing fan leaves and unneeded stems,

Work in an efficient and swift manner.

Cure, weigh, document, organize, and prepare medical cannabis for distribution.

Ensure the cleanliness of your area of operation and the entire facility.

Comply under all procedures and policies of the SunMed Management Team and State of Maryland.

Qualifications

Must pass a background check

Must be 21

Attention to detail

Confidence and ability to handle stress

Knowledge of weights and measures

Strong written and verbal skills

Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of time

Can lift 20lbs without assistance

Ability to multi-task

Possible weekend availability

Education

No experience in cannabis necessary

High school graduate

Basic understanding of quality control
