Trim Assistant

The Trim Assistant oversees all matters relating to the maintenance of a clean, safe, and efficient trim room. This position will monitor and maintain the trim room supplies while upholding quality control measures in accordance with Health Canada and standards set by Flowr.

In this role, you will perform the following duties:

  • Reprocessing scissors and other trimming equipment used throughout the day.
  • Assisting in the cleaning of the room during switchovers.
  • Sweeping several times throughout the day.
  • Helping to keep plant bins stocked.
  • Ensuring trim room is stocked with necessary tools, equipment, gowning, gloves, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    • To be successful, you should have the following skills:

  • Proven working experience as cleaner, housekeeper, custodian, janitor, or similar role.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, proper storage and disposal methods.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a team.
  • Physically able to sit, stand, crouch, and walk for the duration of an 8-hour shift.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Able to lift twenty pounds comfortably.
  • High school diploma preferred, not mandatory.
