As a technical sales professional, you'll use your technical knowledge along with sales skills to conduct product demonstrations and provide pre-sales technical support to prospective customers on a range of C15 products, for which a certain level of expertise is needed.

  • Working with the Sales team
  • Provide technology presentations, customized product demonstrations to prospects via online meeting or on premise.
  • Areas of specialty of Technical Sales include:
  • Discovery – a means to uncover details of business problems that the prospect has. The Technical Sales person will understand and closely analyze the prospects requirements.
  • Preparation – tailoring a prospect specific presentation or software presentation that precisely meets the needs of the prospect.
  • Demonstration – A demonstration of C15 product that specifically addresses the prospects business problems. It will be done in a manner that highlights an easy method to solve those problems using the tools available within C15 suite of product.
  • Request for Proposal (RFP) – Technical Sales has a detailed knowledge of the product suite, in addition to its application to business problems. As such, Technical Sales is involved in technical details in RFP preparation.
  • Marketing assistance – The marketing department and Technical Sales align closely. Given Technical Sales is directly in touch with the market, Technical Sales can share market feedback with the marketing team. Technical Sales will often create the technical detail for use in marketing collateral.
  • Product management assistance – Technical Sales provides unparalleled market feedback to product managers that can be used to influence or provide feedback on product roadmap items.
  • Proposal assistance –Technical Sales is involved in the sale since the discovery of the prospect business problems, Technical Sales will also complete the business analysis and technical component of a sales proposal.
  • Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

    Essential requirements

  • Experience in technologies solutions / software product demo and presentation.
  • Minimum two years’ experience in services sales, technical pre-sales or technical architecting experience.
  • Solution Selling Experience: Proven success with enterprise customers, working knowledge of solution-selling strategies and tactics and business value selling.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or an equivalent technical degree.
  • Critical thinking, collaborative and a high performing individual with proven initiative.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 30%
  • Preferred Experience (non-mandatory):

  • Experience/Knowledge with Quality Management System or ERP platforms.
  • Regulatory or compliance industry experience, such as pharmaceutical, medical devices, food and beverages.
  • Any experience in cannabis industry would be an asset.
