Social Media Manager

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get hands-on as a key impactful voice of one of the most prolific cannabis brands in the world. This position will challenge you to adapt and learn in a collaborative and exciting environment, and provide you incredible opportunities to learn and grow as a digital marketer and content creator.

Ideal candidates for this position must have hands-on experience managing social media accounts, editorial calendars, and production on high-impact content. They must also be adept at creating content on the fly (DIY content, boomerangs, live-streams, etc).

Our future social media manager will be someone with excellent understanding of platform dynamics, and structuring a tailored brand message across the following channels: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day posting on brand accounts.
  • Manage a comprehensive annual editorial calendar.
  • Creating and planning innovative social media content (photos, videos, influencer
  • activations, events).
  • Coordinate and manage a network of creators (videographers, influencers,
  • photographers, designers) to produce at-least 3 posts per channel per day.
  • Manage a customer-service initiative to develop response solutions to hundreds of DMs per day.
  • Develop weekly, monthly, and yearly KPI reports with actionable insights.
  • Be adaptive and pliable in last-minute, high-pressure scenarios.

  • Highly organized
  • Strong (expert-level) written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Excel of Google Sheet experience
  • Proficient in data analysis and numbers
  • Advanced with Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with a cannabis-related company
  • Existing creator contacts (media, influencer, multimedia)
