Social Media Manager

Do you tweet, share, and post to social media in your sleep? Do you know what it takes to grow an online community? We're looking for an Online Community Manager (social media manager) to manage our social media accounts by setting specific goals, and implementing strategies/tactics that grow our followers, engage and retain them, and help convert them into customers, and active fans that promote our company and brands. You should have command of best practices and trends in social media marketing, enjoy being creative, and understand how to both build and convert a digital audience. You will be our ear to the ground to route information and inquiries to the appropriate person. This position reports to the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer.

Responsibilities:

Build and manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Instagram (priority), Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and additional channels that may be deemed relevant.

Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about our company, competitors, and/or industry, especially ones that position our CEO as an industry thought-leader.

Run regular social promotions and campaigns to remain relevant and engage our audiences in new and innovative ways.

Work alongside other marketers and content creators to help distribute content that educates and entertains our audience and supports marketing goals.

Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from our social network presence.

Explore new ways to engage and identify new social networks to reach our target.

Working with our Website Manager, provide direction for SEO and make content recommendations for our 3 websites (Caliber, Paradiso and The Weed Brand).

Track, measure and analyze all initiatives to report on ROI.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years managing multiple social media channels for a consumer brand.

Minimum 1 year working in the legal cannabis industry, preferably in a consumer-facing role.

Active and well-rounded personal presence in social media, with a command of each network and best practices.

Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use both intuition and data to inform decisions using social media software to monitor online conversations.

Bonus experience and skills include Adobe Creative Suite, demand generation, inbound marketing, and blogging.

Experience:

Social Media Marketing: 3 years (Preferred)
