    As a social media manager, you will update social networks and curate content to gain new followers. You will also create new social marketing campaigns, build brand recognition, and manage all published company content. While working with web analytic tools to track campaign progress and researching industry trends, you will maintain an active social presence and reply to customer inquiries. A successful social media manager will collaborate with marketing, PR, and legal teams to align company messages, promotions, and goals.

    Essential Functions

  • Email Newsletters

  • Using said content to drive brand awareness, demonstrate authority and generate leads and sales

  • Content Calendar creation and integration

  • Social Media Copy

  • Conduct thorough industry researchon topics

  • Edit and proof-read written original piecesbefore publication

  • Prepare drafts using digitalpublishing platforms

  • Interview industry professionals and incorporatetheir views in blog posts

  • Advance our status as authority

  • Coordinate with marketing, design and lab teamsto illustrate and fact-check article

  • Comfortableparticipating in planning and strategizing for inbound marketing campaignexecution - including content, content schedule, applicable platforms, andanalytics tracking

  • Able to develop benchmarks and goals for eachcampaign and ensure they are reached

  • Participate in client and sales meetings, asdeemed fit and/or necessary for data acquisition

  • Willing to learn to use inbound marketingsoftware

  • Constantly generating new ideas and opportunitiesto ensure our success and the success of our clients

  • Highly accountable for project quality anddeadlines

  • Comfortable talking to industry leaders,figureheads, brand owners and customers representative of our targetdemographics with the intent of compiling data, information and industry,actionable in the form of written and graphical content.

  • Comfortable with keyword research as it relatesto SEO and topical content, creation, curation, promotion and distribution

  • Familiarwith Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator

  • Comfortable working with CMSs likeWordpress?

  • Up todate on best SEO practices for search, PPC and content marketing

    Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, PR, or related field
  • Two years of social media management experience
  • Experience with Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or HubSpot
  • Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Final Cut Pro and Google Analytics
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices
  • Experience with technologies and best practices for web design, web production, and creative design across multiple platforms
  • Experience identifying and creating campaigns for target audience
  • Excellent analytical and time-management skills
  • Strong project management skills with ability to supervise multiple projects
