Shift Manager

Schedule/Time Commitment: 40-50 hrs per week, must be available to work weekends.

Herbi is rapidly growing and in need of a hard working shift manager to oversee driver dispatching and inventory management at our Bay Area cannabis delivery depot. This opportunity is ideal for a detail oriented and energetic individual with previous management experience looking to make an impact in a growing industry.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate driver deliveries and answer customer service inquiries

Hire, train, and assess store employee's productivity and performance

Maintain orderly, presentable appearance of depot

Oversee store and driver inventory

Qualified candidates must have:

Good communication: While working as a Herbi manager communication is key. As a dispatcher you’ll be responsible for managing and directing Herbi’s fleet of drivers. On shift you are an extra set of eyes and ears for our fleet, relaying customer support issues and making changes on the fly to help provide the best customer experience possible. Besides interacting with drivers on shift, you’ll be responsible for scheduling, hiring, receiving orders from vendors and more all of which require clear and concise and professional communication.

Attention to detail: Details are everything when it comes to the highly regulated nature of the cannabis industry. As a manager, you will be responsible for making sure that inventory is accounted for and accurate at all times. Close attention to detail is required to ensure that Herbi’s internal tracking systems remain synced and accurate with the states track and trace system.

Flexibility: While this job description provides an outline for what will make you a successful Herbi manager, as a manager you must also be able to adapt to the business's needs. Keeping your cool and rolling with the punches will be as important as attention to details, and adapting and improvising will be required as new issues arise.

Requirements:

  • Experienced, detail-oriented customer service professional with history of working quickly and efficiently.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience with good understanding of workplace labor laws.
  • Must be 25+ years old, have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Commitment to adhere to established guidelines, policies and procedures.
  • Must be comfortable using inventory management systems and other software.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience to manage all financial aspects of store operations including growth and expense management.
  • Demonstrate ability to facilitate learning for others and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to define problems and come up with creative solutions to solve issues as they arise.
  • Certain physical requirements including standing / walking for long periods, ability to lift / push / pull 50 lbs, etc.
  • Experience: management: 2 years (Required) customer service: 4 years (Required)
