Security Guard / Secure Delivery Driver

Maintains a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. Ensures the safe and secure delivery of Sira Naturals products via company delivery vehicle.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points.
  • Obtains help by sounding alarms and/or contacting authorities (dialing 911).
  • Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; reporting trespassers to local authorities.
  • Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
  • Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
  • Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
  • Controls access to facility through visitor access control process
  • Monitors internal and external operations via CCTV for unusual behavior or theft
  • Makes secure/monitored deliveries from Milford to dispensaries (metro Boston)
  • Reports all facility safety and security issues to management
  • Complies with and helps to enforce company policy and regulations
  • As a member of the Milford team, conducts other appropriate tasks as assigned

    • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Sitting, standing and walking motion/movement will be required
  • Lifting or moving items up to 50 pounds may be required
  • Driving/operating a delivery vehicle and delivering packages between facilities is required

    • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is required
  • Valid driver’s license is required
  • Must be able to pass an extensive background check, per DPH Rules and Regulations
  • Must be 25 years of age or older (driving/insurance requirements)
  • Previous employment in security, law enforcement or military required
  • Familiar with operation and monitoring of security cameras and access systems
  • Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
  • This is a full-time hourly position providing benefits and paid time off, hours are Monday through Friday, 10:30AM-7:00PM (eligible for OT based on business needs)

    • Experience: security: 1 year (Preferred)
