Sample Collector

We are looking to hire someone part time (1-2 days a week) to collect cannabis samples from the Aracta or Eureka areas for testing

Background: Starting Jan 1, 2018, every lot of cannabis or cannabis-infused product in the state of California has been required to be tested by a third party laboratory prior to commercial sale. The laboratory performing the testing is also required to 'sample' the product per state guidelines. The process entails driving to a distribution facility, taking a representative number/amount of harvest batch or product units per BCC's guidelines, applying tamper proof labels, monitoring environmental factors to ensure sample integrity, and documenting the sampling process.

Education/Experience Requirements:

(1) Completed 2 years college or university education; or (2) Hold a High School Diploma or pass a General Educational Development or High School Equivalency exam and have completed 1 year of full-time practical experience.

Having a driver's license with a good driving record is also required.

License: Driver's License (Required)
