Sales Executive

We are excited to be growing our team with the addition of a Sales Executive to promote Braingrid’s solutions.

Reporting directly to the VP of Sales and Marketing of Braingrid, you would be responsible for increasing sales and rapidly building out a customer base. You will reach and exceed business targets through consistent sales activity that includes outbound sales calls, face-to-face customer visits, social selling, demonstrations, presentations, networking and various other techniques meant to grow a pipeline and convert opportunities to sales.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Acquire new customers through regular sales calls
  • Grow sales within existing customer base
  • Perform sales activities, as assigned
  • Track and report on sales activities
  • Obtain sales results in line with annual budgets/targets
  • Deliver remote or in-person presentations and/or demonstrations
  • Develop prospects through participation in trade events as required
  • Collaborate with other team members to optimize customer presentations / solutions
  • Collect and effectively use competitive and industry information
  • Other activities, as assigned by management
  • THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • MUST HAVE: a minimum of 1 year of sales experience (inside or outside sales)
  • MUST HAVE: Valid driver’s license and vehicle
  • Ideally experienced in the sale of B2B solutions
  • Ideally experienced in sales to sophisticated investors and/or entrepreneurs
  • Capable of achieving targets via self-motivation, tenacity, determination and humility
  • Driven to exceed sales targets, strong prospecting, relationship building and closing skills
  • Ability to be held to minimum sales activity expectations and to be measured on mix of metrics
  • Being comfortable making cold calls and setting-up face-to-face appointments
  • Having the ability to manage and ensure initiative buy-in from all influencers in the client’s buying process
  • Highly proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) and other basic business applications
  • Proficient at accounting for work
  • Proficient at defending requests for special pricing/packaging/other requirements to management
  • Ability to travel to customer sites
