Sales Director, strategic accounts

As we expand our North American distribution network, we are looking for a Sales Director, strategic accounts to lead this practice. You will directly manage the department, overseeing several Account Managers and Executives to ensure all are engaged, productive, and on track to hit (and exceed) all personal and company-wide targets. Reporting directly to the CRO, and as a member of the company's leadership team, the Director of Sales will have a huge hand in defining and executing company-wide sales and growth strategies.

This is a Business to Business Sales Opportunity; as we market, promote, and sell to resellers, distributors, and dispensaries.

  • Are ready to begin as a 1099 contractor and, once your sales target is achieved, join the company as a full time employee
  • Core Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, train, and motivate sales team to maximize revenue and market share
  • Identifies Key Opinion Leaders and Product Champions to expand market share
  • Develop strong relationships to continually expand First Mountain Farms product offerings
  • Design and execute team strategy, set goals, and develop account plans to ensure YOY growth from key accounts
  • Establish team objectives by using CRM data to run reports, identify trends, and plan around sales forecasting
  • Identify and implement efficiencies along the sales pipeline, from qualifying leads to closing business with new and repeat customers
  • Identify new business opportunities and manage sales cycle from outreach to pitch to close
  • Create strong relationships with key client stakeholders at all levels (mid-management, senior, C-level)
  • Interface with marketing department to consistently improve sales materials
  • Work to understand why clients work with First Mountain Farms to increase retention rates and minimize churn of existing accounts
  • Collaborate with internal teams on behalf of clients to ensure the highest level of customer service
