Sales Administrator / Inside Sales Support

Blunt Brothers is a leading licensed distributor of cannabis and cannabis products. We are seeking a professional, skilled individual join our sales team to help coordinate and process purchase orders, invoices, manage order workflow, and liaison with customers, suppliers and our sales team to ensure the accurate and timely delivery or receipt orders.

Reporting directly to the Merchandise Manager and closely with territory account sales managers, this role is primarily responsible for processing inbound customer purchase orders, responding to customer inquires, processing manual orders and keeping customers informed about available products, promotions, new products and services. You understand process and like working in a entrepreneurial high energy environment.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Promptly respond to customer inquires by phone, email, providing accurate information about products and services.
  • Provide customers with accurate product, in stock and delivery information.
  • Work closely with supplier personnel to meet customers’ requirements.
  • Obtain accurate information from vendors relating to shipment dates and expected date of delivery.
  • Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed.
  • Input customer and lead information into CRM system and communicate with account sales managers on time sensitive opportunities and inquiries.
  • Process customer orders into Microsoft NAV system.
  • Monitor and communicate daily order fulfillment activities and timelines to the fulfillment team.
  • Generate work order and reports as needed.
  • Build strong support relationships with customers and vendors.
  • Ensure communication is clear, on strategy and consistent throughout the organization.
  • Become a Microsoft NAV power user.
  • Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Must be detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to make decisions that are mutually beneficial to customers and to company.
  • Experience with back-end use of CRM systems, preferably Zoho and Microsoft Dynamics NAV. ( We provide support training)
  • Passion for sales and customer service.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Positive attitude, high integrity, and determination to work collaboratively.
  • Maintain a sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and self-sufficient.
  • General knowledge of California cannabis industry, rules and regulations at the state level.
  • Preference

  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics NAV, and/or Power B.I.,Jet Reports, or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years in a sales environment
  • Passion and interest to work in the cannabis industry
  • Key Requirements

  • Must have dependable transportation and a valid, clean driving license.
  • Must be able to pass background check.
