Retail Store Manager

Alpenglow is looking to fill a full time position of a Retail Store Manager for the Breckenridge Alpenglow Premium Cannabis location. Previous management and/or sales experience is required for this position. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, possess the ability to manage other employees, be organized, detail oriented, have the ability to work holidays, weekends, and extra hours if necessary. The Retail Store Manager will also be expected to achieve set sales goals, evaluate inventory and product needs, and maintain regulatory procedures. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation that is DOE.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21+ years old.
  • Must have or be willing/able to obtain a key MED badge.
  • Reliable transportation
  • Advanced understanding of sales principles and customer service practices

    • Typical responsibilities of the job include:

  • Recruiting, training, supervising and appraising staff
  • Managing budgets
  • Maintaining statistical and financial records
  • Dealing with customer queries and complaints
  • Overseeing pricing and stock control
  • Maximising profitability and setting/meeting sales targets, including motivating staff to do so
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
  • Preparing promotional materials and displays
  • Liaison with head office
