Regional Director Cultivation

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to site cultivation teams
  • Provide leadership to site cultivation teams in implementing cGMP for plant growing and post-harvest drying and curing
  • Audit site cultivation growing practices and results, communicate recommendations for improvements to site management and the Senior Vice President, Cultivation
  • Evaluate site cultivation facilities, environmental controls, and equipment. Make recommendations for improvements that will result in better crop yields and product quality, improved operating efficiency, and reduced crop production costs
  • Monitor the availability of new and/or improved environmental controls and equipment and facility construction practices designed to improve cultivation business results
  • Provide training to site cultivation teams on cGMP practices and processes
  • Coordinate local and regional vendor technical support and training for cultivation teams
  • Evaluate the technical and leadership skills for site cultivation management, provide feedback to site management and the Senior Vice President, Cultivation
  • Support site cultivation teams in the implementation of and reporting for Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and other company operating metrics
  • Assist with the development and implementation of site plant growing, drying, and curing schedule
  • Lead the effort to improve site strain mix by recommending changes that result in improved product quality and sales
  • Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years plant cultivation management and leadership experience
  • Proven technical proficiency in plant growing practices and procedures, preferably with cannabis crops
  • Proven success in managing an indoor grow or greenhouse operation
  • Knowledge of cGMP for plant production
  • Experience in cultivation technical training for an indoor grow or greenhouse operation
  • Job Requirements

  • Willingness to travel a minimum of 50% of work time
  • Are at least 21 years of age
  • Have no felony convictions
  • Are willing to participate in an extensive background check
  • Are trustworthy and hardworking
  • Have a valid driver’s license

  • Ability to evaluate processes, facilities, equipment, and technical skills
  • Ability to train others on cGMP concepts and business applications
