The Recruiter II recruits for a variety of roles across the organization by identifying, attracting and closing top talent to ensure that hiring objectives are met in a timely and accurate manner. S/he fosters strong relationships with hiring managers, identifies the right candidate and presents qualified candidates to drive the process to successful hires.

What You'll Do

  • Embraces and demonstrates alignment with Caliva Values – Integrity, Positive Energy, Bias to Action, Connectedness, Truth Seeking.
  • Source, recruit and hire top talent for a variety of positions.
  • Partner with various hiring managers across the organization to execute hiring plans.
  • Manage a positive recruiting experience internally and externally (working with internal partners and candidates).
  • Maintain applicant tracking system, ensuring candidate records and activity are current, and provide weekly reports.
  • Assist in other recruiting or HR initiatives as needed.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
  • What You Have

  • Demonstrated ability and track record of success of filling abroad range of positions in a timely manner.
  • Proven track record of creative sourcing strategies to attract talent from direct competitors.
  • Must be able to manage conflicting priorities, while being extremely adaptable and flexible.
  • Highly detail oriented and ability to multi-task and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships.
  • High business acumen with the ability to articulate the company and job openings clearly to candidates.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentially with employee information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Prior experience working with ATS systems and other recruiting tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Monster, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of the medical cannabis industry a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business or related fields.
  • 5+ years experience recruiting for all levels of an organization, from entry level to manager positions for both technical and non technical positions.
  • Working Environment

    This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers and filing cabinets.

    Job Requirements

  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time, use hands and fingers for data entry for 8 hours or more, some lifting, squatting, bending, some pushing and pulling.
  • Must be able to travel to other office locations.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must comply with all legal and company regulations for working in the industry.
  • Must pass a background check with the San Jose Police Department.
