Here is where you come in as the Production Supervisor. As a key member of the Operations Team that oversees the leads and other processing staff, you will be serving as a key point of contact and facilitating the safe, hygienic, and efficient processing of cannabis.
Your attention to detail, ability to maintain a safe, clean workspace and comply with standard operating procedures is proven to be a model for others. You are an energetic self-starter with the ability to take initiative and identify opportunities to be able to deliver a consistently high product quality.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Ensures the team executes their responsibilities safely, efficiently, and in a way that maintains exceptional product quality throughout the process.
Meets and exceeds production targets and remain in constant communication with the Production Manager regarding variances from daily goals.
Ensures the daily instruction(s) received from the Production Manager are being followed.
Ensures the trim and dry rooms are operating in accordance with all standard operating procedures, safety standards, and quality control directives.
In conjunction with the leads, oversees daily pre-inspections and post-inspections of all trimming equipment, tools, and materials.
Maintains the highest levels of cleanliness and sterility inside the production area.
In conjunction with the Production Manager, administers training programs to the staff.
Oversees the daily logging of production room activities including, but not limited to, active processing, sanitation, general cleaning, surface testing, safety inspections, etc.
Demonstrates consistent attention to detail in all aspects of the procedure for the specific processing area.
Serves as a resource and point of contact for processing staff, paying specific attention to the health and safety requirements of workers in the processing facility.
Ability to work varied shifts in order to meet business requirements.

Minimum 3 years’ experience managing a production facility and leading a team
Manufacturing, food processing, and/or greenhouse experience required.
Organizing and prioritizing your work to meet deadlines and can adapt to unexpected priorities.
You are proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Exercising professional judgment and decision-making.
Following instructions and direction and soliciting feedback to improve performance.
Attention to detail and excellent communication, both verbal and written skills.
Attend applicable training to support improved business practices and enhance career growth.
Must have the ability to work a shift rotation.
Must have the ability to obtain and pass a RCMP Criminal Record Check and maintain security clearance.
