Objective: The Production Manager position is ultimately responsible for all aspects of production. Areas of responsibilities include planning all crops several months in advance, managing crops in all stages; propagation, vegetative, and flowering, harvesting flower, drying flower, trimming, and storage.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Coordinate and meticulously plan the uninterrupted flow of production in all areas
Supervise staff to ensure proper care in all areas of production
Ensure all staff follow establishedWE OG SOP’s
Perform and supervise plant care related activities (pruning, SCROG, transplant, propagation, etc)
Maintain a robust and dynamic IPM program
Evaluate crops and perform diagnosis of possible issues
Maintain high levels of cleanliness in all areas in accordance with WE OG sanitation practices
Be an integral part of the quality control team
Perform job duties in accordance with WE OG safety practices
Other duties as directed by supervisor
Education and Training:
Minimum 8 years experience growing commercial crops including at least 5 years experience growing in a commercial hydroponic cannabis operation
Knowledge of cannabis plant anatomy and strains
Extensive knowledge of plant pests, diseases, and the proper diagnosis thereof
High-level knowledge and experience of rock wool and coco based growing techniques
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with a heavy emphasis on Excel

Occasionally lifting 40+ lbs
Frequent use of ladder to work at heights of 12’+
Use of hand truck, pallet jack, and other manual equipment
Frequent use of Personal Protective Equipment
Constant work in areas with bright light and/or extreme temperatures
