Processing Team Member

The Processing Team Member will work with the Processing Team on a variety of projects and tasks throughout multiple departments to ensure high quality products for Ohio patients. Team members should be prepared to come to work with a great attitude and be ready to be on their feet working in a variety of different environments.

Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Responsibilities)

  • Responsible for helping the Processing Team meet production demands and quality expectations.
  • Duties included, but are not limited to: Grinding raw bio-mass material, operating our state-of-the-art Co2 extraction machine, extracting essential oils from raw cannabis material, cleaning laboratory areas, post-processing raw cannabis oil, manufacturing infusion products, packaging products, and performing data entry in METRC, the State's inventory tracking system.
  • Communicate with Team Leads and aids in other areas when not working with required daily tasks.
  • Maintain personal cleanliness in the Processing area (In compliance with GMP).
  • Follow equipment, chemicals and other safety protocols as required by the Company.
  • Maintain accurate records, inventories, and data, as needed.
  • Perform other tasks as required.

    • Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • High School Diploma.
  • Experience with data entry software.
  • Able to work long hours.
  • Capable of working without supervision.
  • Experience managing other team members.
  • Meet the cleanliness standard required by law and Company policy for operating the equipment in the Procesing area.
  • Understands compliance regulations and adheres to SOPs for specialized areas.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Willing to participate in an extensive background check.
  • Driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Computer Literature (Work, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Bachelor's / Associates Degree in related fields.
  • Knowledge of the cannabis plant and extractions.
  • Experience working in related fields, such as food processing.

  • This is a fulltime position with variable hours required. Our facility will be open from 6am to 8pm seven days a week. Candidates with weekend availability is required. You will have to complete a State/Federal background check, as well as a drug screening pre-employment. Grow Ohio offers a competitive compensation package with attractive benefit offerings.
