Partner Success Manager

The Marketing Partner Success Manager will manage and coordinate marketing initiatives between Flow Kana and critical external brand partner relationships. This role is key to ensuring internal initiatives keep our distribution and white-label partner network in-mind, identifying opportunities for cross-marketing and collaboration. The Marketing Partner Success Manager will also be responsible for understanding the marketing priorities, plans and identities for each brand partner and sharing the relevant knowledge to the internal Flow Kana team to help amplify sales strategies.

We are looking for an experienced marketing professional to manage key brand partnerships under the Flow Kana Distribution and Powered By Flow Kana umbrellas. Our ideal candidate will build strong relationships with our brand partners' marketing teams to maximize sales and marketing opportunities throughout the ecosystem. Candidate will continually look for actionable ways to improve communications, marketing tool kits, cross-brand promotion opportunities and best practice development.

This role will also support the management of marketing and digital assets needed by our dispensary partners, acting as a key point of contact for a growing group of partners throughout the state. The right person will view this as a key opportunity to build a high impact program from the ground up in close partnership with our trade marketing and sales teams.

The Marketing Partner Success Manager will report into the VP of Communications and Brand Marketing. Flow Kana has a dynamic and vibrant partner ecosystem and we need your leadership!

What you'll do

  • Main point of contact for all brand partner marketing teams and in-house authority on partner brands' marketing initiatives, brand guides, and priorities. This role serves as the voice of our Flow Kana partner team and provides feedback to internal teams on how we can better serve our customers
  • Project manage and coordinate all new partner and partner product launch plans with internal and external teams
  • In some cases, assist in helping our brand partners develop marketing initiatives for key priorities
  • Support and participate in creative development with both partner and Flow Kana brands in mind, identifying clear areas of alignment
  • Continued working knowledge of partners' brand management, launch plans, marketing initiatives and priorities
  • Support sales team initiatives with brand partners such as branded promotions, email marketing pushes and in-store activities
  • Manage and identify needs for brand partner assets such as video, photography, sales sheets, one-pagers, and creative content
  • Main interface with brand partners on event participation, activations at each event and day-of interface, as needed, in close coordination with Flow Kana events team
  • Organize, house and manage key assets dispensary partners need
  • Act as key point of contact to support needs of dispensary partners in close coordination with trade marketing and content development teams
  • Develop scalable and standardized systems to increase efficiencies in the marketing relationship management process with both brand and dispensary partners
  • Promote a customer service mindset across the company and align initiatives across teams
  • Measure effectiveness of Marketing Partner Success programs and services with brand and dispensary partners through metrics and operational reviews
  • Anticipate issues and identify opportunities to systematize solutions to support a growing customer base and team
  • What you'll need

  • At least 3 years of professional marketing or sales experience in a marketing coordinator or relationship management role. Customer or partner facing experience a plus
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience in Communications, Business Administration, Operations Management, Sales and/or Marketing
  • Highly organized individual with a passion for customer service and collaboration
  • Excellent creative thinking skills with emphasis on developing innovative solutions to complex problems that may not have one clear answer
  • Strong emotional intelligence with the ability to partner effectively with individuals, internally and externally, who have a varying range of business operations experience
  • Ability to multitask and high flexibility and adaptability to the demands and requirements of a fast-paced environment with multiple demands and priorities
  • Self-starter that thrives in the face of challenge. Individual is dedicated clearing obstacles with a resourceful and collaborative approach to problem-solving and with strong communication skills
  • Must be highly collaborative and comfortable in a startup-like environment where the program is continuously evolving
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, effective interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with personnel at all organizational levels
  • Highly motivated individual with excellent communication, influencing and follow up skillsIdeal candidate displays high energy, maintains a positive attitude, has contagious enthusiasm that helps adaptation to the changing business environment
  • Proficient in GSuite, MSFT Office, and Keynote
  • Experience managing CRM Systems a plus
  • Ability to travel 15% of the time to events and to Mendocino Headquarters, The Flow Cannabis Institute for key meetings
